SUPPORT STEMIE EDUCATION IN KANSAS CITY

Sponsor the Kansas City Invention Convention

Invest in the future by supporting the Linda Hall Library’s annual Kansas City Invention Convention (KCIC)!  KCIC is a STEMIE (STEM + Invention + Entrepreneurship) competition that teaches problem-solving and creativity skills to students in grades 5-12, and provides educators with a project-based curriculum to inspire the innovators of tomorrow.

Sponsorship helps make KCIC accessible to more of our region’s youth, and includes funding student trips to Invention Convention U.S. Nationals, competition day transportation, awards, educator professional development, afterschool outreach, and more. Summer school & after-school student workshops: $15,000

In-classroom support (including hands-on classroom visits by the KCIC team, invention activities, competition preparation, and invention supplies): $4,000

Class visits to Linda Hall Library (including transportation to the Library, invention activities, and competition preparation): $6,500

COMPETITION DAY AND AWARDS CEREMONY OPPORTUNITIES

Event production: $30,000

Hospitality for judges, volunteers, and students: $18,500

Transportation for students and educators: $2,750

Event supplies: $8,000

Student awards: $7,500

NATIONALS COMPETITION OPPORTUNITY
